The 6th batch of the CAF License C Coaching Course is set to begin on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram. This initial phase, known as Module I, will run until November 8, 2024.
The course will be led by an esteemed panel of CAF and GFA instructors, including Technical Director Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, Desmond Sakyi Ofei, who serves as the Head of Coaching Education, and instructors Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah, Charles Anokye Frimpong, and Bernice Adutwumwaa.
The CAF License C Coaching Course is designed to equip Coaches with the technical skills, tactical knowledge, and educational methods necessary to develop especially grassroots football.
This certification also serves as a strong foundation to prepare participants for advanced coaching responsibilities in the future. The course is part of the GFA’s ongoing interventions targeted at raising the standard of football coaching across the country.
The course includes both theoretical and practical sessions designed to enhance participants' understanding of coaching methodology, player development, and match analysis. Through this initiative, the GFA hopes to deepen the pool of qualified coaches in Ghana, further enhancing the quality of Coaching, one of the key pillars of the Association's agenda of fixing the fundamentals of Ghana Football.
