The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has postponed the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for the month of June 2021.
This means the match day one and two fixtures originally scheduled for June 5-14, 2021 have now been pushed to September 2021.
Also, the other match days of the qualifiers have been rescheduled for the International football windows of October 2021, November 2021 and March 2022 respectively.
This was contained in a statement released by CAF on Thursday, May 06, 2021.
The Black Stars of Ghana were billed to face Ethiopia in Cape Coast on June 5, before travelling to South Africa to face Bafana Bafana seven days later.
