The Elite U15 Girls Championship took an interesting turn on Thursday as all ten participating Regions went sightseeing at the beach as they visited the Atlantic Beach Resort in Prampram.

Per the competition fixtures released earlier, Thursday was the second rest day and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the organizing committee spiced up the day for the young girls with some fun activities.

It was an exciting scene at the beach as the girls engaged in various fun activities including “tug of peace”, beach volley, seaside hiking, music and dance, among others.

This initiative provided an avenue for the girls to fraternize more and also have some fun among themselves.

The championship will resume with Match Day 3 action on Friday, July 19, with some thrilling fixtures.

In Group A, Western Region will take on Ashanti Region at 8am while Northern Region and Eastern Region battle it out at 10am with Upper East on standby.

Group B will see Central Region and Greater Accra in Action at 2pm while Volta Region takes on Upper West at 4pm with Brong Ahafo Region on standby.
