Ghana beat Nigeria 3-1 on penalties to win the inaugural WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations in Kumasi.

Aside the victory, two Black Princesses Afi Amenyeku and captain Stella Nyamekye swept the best goalkeeper as well the best player of the tournament awards.

Nigeria goalkeeper Nderline Mgbechie kept the highest number of clean sheets as she conceded only once in the entire tournament. Whiles Esther Ajakaye was crowned as the competitions top scorer.

In all, 55 goals were scored in 13 matches - in a tournament that featured only 7 countries from the West African sub-region.
