The Ghana Football Association has taken delivery of 600 whistles, 600 caution cards and 400 pairs of flags for the Catch Them Young refereeing policy. This is to aid them in duly executing their duties and responsibilities smoothly.

Referees Manager, Alex Kotey took delivery of the items at the Secretariat on behalf of the Association.

The Catch Them Young refereeing policy is an initiative designed to identify, educate, and train young talents between the ages of 13-16 to officiate juvenile matches within their region.

Since its launch three years ago, the trained young referees have officiated in various juvenile matches including the 2022/2023 women’s premier league champions match between Hasaacas and Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
