Despite two wins in two African Cup of Nations matches, Ghana coach, Goran Stevanovic faces a selection headache for Wednesday's clash against Guinea with four towering central defenders competing for two available slots.

Captain John Mensah and Isaac Vorsah are available for selection after serving separate suspensions at the tournament to compete with John Boye and Jonathan Mensah.

The Ghana bench welcomes the defensive options available to them for the game against Guinea with Kwesi Appiah explaining that they are spoilt for choice.

“We haven’t got any problems. The only problem we had was missing John Mensah [sent off in the first game] who was out due to injury. [Isaac] Vorsah was also out but hopefully, we hope that for the next game, they would all be ready to join the team. Apart from that we don’t have any problems and everything is cool in camp,” Kwesi Appiah, assistant Ghana coach said.

And ahead of the final group clash on Wednesday, the Black Stars bench has been drawn into the debate on who gets to partner who as [John] Mensah and Vorsah are both available.

“We’ve had discussions on this (return of John Mensah and Isaac Vorsah and the form of John Boye). The most important thing is having a quality team. All your 23 players should be of good quality. As to who starts and who comes on, it’s immaterial.”

A win for Ghana over Guinea would take them to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
