FC AshantiGold have picked up their first point in the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup after playing out a goalless draw against Semper Fi in Group B at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Both sides started cautiously, but the game came to life in the second half as they created several chances in search of the breakthrough.

Semper Fi goalkeeper Godwin Agboso was in fine form, making crucial saves to keep his side in the game. AshantiGold also had goalkeeper Fatau Seidu to thank after he came on in the first half to replace Bismark Baffour and produced some important saves.

The result leaves AshantiGold with one point after two matches, while Semper Fi have also picked up two points from their opening two games.

Both sides will head into their final group games knowing they need a victory to keep their qualification hopes alive.
