Ghana expect to have a revitalized squad to face Zambia in their semi-final clash at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday despite having little time to recover.

The Black Stars booked their place in the last four after defeating Tunisia 2-1 in a game that travelled 120 minutes on Sunday night.

With no time for training on Monday, the Black Stars made the trip to Equatorial Guinea on Monday ahead of the clash in Bata.

Zambia, who played at the Estadio de Bata on Saturday, have had enough rest compared to the Black Stars.

However Ghana assistant coach Kwesi Appiah does not expect the team to capitulate against the Chipolopolo.

“The difficult part is that, most of our players have played about three-four games now and sometimes, it’s really difficult to get them to play at their maximum as you want in every game,” Kwesi Appiah said.

Ghana's players could only afford a walk around the team hotel on Monday and will have only one practice session on Tuesday.

The game against Tunisia might have being tasking but Appiah is confident they will be in shape for Wednesday's game.

“The most important thing is making sure that they recuperate very well and make sure that they are in a good condition before the next game,” he said.

“It’s not going to be easy to get everything the way you want but we would make sure they are all fully fit for our next game against Zambia.”
