Ghana will enter the African qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the first round stage with an opening home game against Egypt next month.
The Black Maidens will host the Egyptians on March 14 in the first leg with the return game scheduled for the weekend of March 26,27 or 28 in Cairo after drawing a bye in the preliminary round of qualifying.
Coach Abraham Allotey's side will be be hoping to make it a second successive World Cup appearance after Ghana's debut in New Zealand two years ago.
Sixteen African sides will be involved at the first round stage of qualifying with the continent assured of two places at the World Cup finals in Trinidad & Tobago later this year.
