The Football Association has announced a comprehensive screening exercise for the National U-15 Boys Team as preparations gather momentum for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival Azerbaijan 2026, scheduled for October.

A total of 108 promising young players have been invited to participate in the exercise, which will be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The players have been divided into three batches of 36 to allow the technical team to conduct a thorough assessment in a structured and conducive environment.

The first batch will report to camp on Friday, July 17, 2026, and remain in camp until Tuesday, July 21, under the supervision of Head Coach Salifu Fatawu and his technical staff.

The second batch will report on Tuesday, July 21, and conclude their screening on Saturday, July 25, while the third and final batch will commence their five-day assessment on Saturday, July 25.

Following the completion of the screening exercise, the technical team will select the most outstanding players, who will regroup on Sunday, August 9, 2026, to begin intensive preparations for the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival.

The invited players were identified through the GFA's extensive nationwide scouting network, having impressed during the Elite U-15 Inter-Regional Championship, at the GFA Elite Football Academies, and through the Colts Leagues, Inter-Schools competitions, and the Division Three League.
