The Black Stars trained at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday in readiness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.
The Black Stars assembled in Accra on Thursday, May 30, to begin preparations for the two crucial qualifiers. Aside Osman Bukari and Alexander Djiku, Twenty-four players took part in Friday’s training session.
Ghana is keen to get back to winning ways after an unconvincing start in Group I, with one win and one loss in their first two matches. The Black Stars began their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar in Kumasi but suffered a 1-0 loss to Comoros in Moroni.
The players in camp include, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Fredrick Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey, Salisu Mohammed, Jerome Opoku, Abdul Mumin, Thomas Partey, Salis Abdul Samed, Gideon Mensah, Ebenezer Annan, Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah, Ibrahim Sulemana, Edmund Addo, Elisha Owusu and Abu Francis.
The rest are, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Ibrahim Osman, Kamal Deen Sulemana and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
