Premier League: Vision FC, Swedru All Blacks face-off in survival showdown on Saturday

A tense relegation battle is set to unfold this Saturday as Vision FC host Swedru All Blacks at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in a crucial Premier League encounter.

With just five matches remaining in the season, both sides find themselves locked in a fight for survival, making this fixture a potential turning point in their respective campaigns.

Vision FC head into the clash with renewed confidence after a dramatic 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak SC. The late winner not only secured all three points but also snapped a frustrating three-game winless and scoreless run. That victory has lifted the Tema-based side to 11th place on 38 points, offering a slight cushion above the relegation zone.

Under the guidance of head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang, Vision FC have shown resilience, particularly on home turf. They remain unbeaten in their last five league games at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, recording three wins and two draws. Overall, they boast an impressive home record this season, with seven wins, six draws, and just two defeats. Having scored and conceded 29 goals each after 29 matches, Vision will look to capitalize on their home advantage to steer further clear of danger.

In contrast, Swedru All Blacks arrive under pressure following a narrow 1-0 defeat to Young Apostles FC, a result that halted their promising three-game unbeaten streak. The loss has left the “Black Magicians” precariously positioned just above the relegation zone, separated only by goal difference.

Coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey’s side have struggled for consistency throughout the campaign, recording 12 defeats in 29 matches - one of the highest in the league. Their away form remains a major concern, with no wins in their last five trips, managing just one draw and suffering four defeats, including a stalemate against Hearts of Oak SC.

With 24 goals scored and 25 conceded, Swedru All Blacks will need a disciplined and determined performance to revive their survival hopes and avoid slipping further into danger.
