
Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku led the Black Stars technical team to pay a working visit to the Minister of Youth and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams in his office, on Monday March 3, 2025.
The President introduced the members of the revamped Black Stars technical team to the sector Minister and encouraged support and collaboration.
The discussion centered around the Black Stars preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar this month and the support of government in helping to execute a flawless campaign.
The President expressed his confidence in the Black Stars technical team to deliver success for the Ghanaian people.
Members of the technical team including Head Coach Otto Addo, Assistant coach Desmond Ofei and GFA Director of Football and Black Stars Technical Advisor, Winfried Schafer, were in attendance to interact and discuss matters of mutual interest.
President Simeon-Okraku said the Football Association will continue to strengthen its wonderful relationship with Government to ensure seamless cooperation in the collective upliftment of football in the country.
The Black Stars will take on Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 17 before traveling to Morocco to battle Madagascar in the qualifying race for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in USA, Canada and Mexico.
