Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic says the Black Stars will be ready for their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash against Zambia on Wednesday despite having little time to prepare for the game.
The Black Stars booked their place in the last four after defeating Tunisia 2-1 in a game that travelled 120 minutes on Sunday night.
With no time for training on Monday, the Black Stars made the trip to Equatorial Guinea yesterday ahead of the clash in Bata.
Zambia, who played at the Estadio de Bata on Saturday, have had enough rest compared to the Black Stars.
Rather, Stevanovic using that as motivation and has turned his focus on getting Ghana into the finals.
"Okay, it’s normal," the Ghana coach said as his team would have only one session ahead of the game. "We accept that we have limited time to prepare for the game."
"Our opponents have had one more day to rest and we played 120 minutes in a very tough game against Tunisia and all this is part of the game."
Stevanovic says Ghana's responsibility at the tournament is “important.”
"The important thing is our morale and our personality. We have all this and I’m sure we will be ready for tomorrow’s game.”
The two sides meet at the Estadio de Bata.
