Swedru All Blacks have opened up a four-point lead at the top of the table in Zone Two after trouncing Sekondi Eleven Wise 4-0 on Sunday. Oscar Mensah and Solomon Ayikabea scored in the first half to give Swedru All Blacks a 2-0 lead at halftime. After the interval, Rudolf Mensah sealed the win with a brace in the 80th and 91st minutes.
Elsewhere, second placed Sekondi Rospak FC secured a narrow 1-0 win over Future Stars at the Akoon Park. Joseph Ntow Mensah scored the decisive goal in the 45th minute, moving Sekondi Rospak FC to second place with 35 points.
Meanwhile UCC Youngsters snapped their three-game losing streak with a 2-0 away victory over Asekem FC at the Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong Stadium. Bernard Ababio scored the opening goal in the 11th minute before Isaac Mensah added the second goal inside 92 minutes.
