Real Tamale United shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Victory Club Warriors away from home. Emmanuel Boahen scored first for Victory Club Warriors in the 45th minute but Samuel Lamptey responded with a brilliant goal in the 86th minute to level matters for Real Tamale United.

Tamale City extends the lead on top of the table in Zone 1A after shutting out debutants Walewale Catholic Stars 2-0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium. Abdul Aziz Adams scored the opener for Tamale City in the 35th minute whiles Abdul Basit Lamale scored from a spot kick in the 88th minute to seal victory for the home side.

Zone 1B leaders Mighty Royals managed a goalless draw with Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park. They remain on top of the table with 14 points after match week eight.
