Tamale City right-back Ibrahim Karim has been adjudged the Man of the Match following his impressive performance against Nsuopon Fidelity in the opening game of Group B Matchday Two of the 2026 X1 Energy Drink Division One League Super Cup.

The full-back’s surging runs, defensive work rate and overall impact played a key role in his standout display, earning him the Man of the Match award despite the game ending in a goalless draw.

Tamale City have now drawn their opening two group-stage games and will look to their final group game against FC AshantiGold to secure a much-needed first victory and keep their qualification hopes alive.
