Twelve players arrive in Accra to bolster Black Stars squad ahead of Sudan clash

The Black Stars have been bolstered by the arrival of Twelve (12) players, bringing the total squad size to Twenty-three (23) ahead of Ghana’s crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.

The new joiners are Lawrence Ati Zigi, Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Abdul Mumin, Ernest Nuamah, Majeed Ashimeru, Alidu Seidu, Ibrahim Sulemana, Tariq Lamptey, Ibrahim Sadick, Michael Baidoo and Jerome Opoku.

These players will train with the existing squad on Tuesday, ahead of the qualifiers.

Ghana will host Sudan on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium before traveling to Benina, Libya for the reverse fixture on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
