Head Coach of Police Ladies, Abu Kassim, has vowed to guide his team to clinch the Women's FA Cup crown for the second time in their history, despite facing a formidable opposition in Army Ladies.

Police Ladies, who won the coveted title in 2016, are determined to add another crown to their growing trophy cabinet.

They will take on Army Ladies in a match of epic proportions at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon, on Saturday June 8, 2024.

"We are ready to battle Army Ladies to lift our second FA Cup title. We had a plan right from the start of the season and that’s what got us to this stage. We are confident going into the final against Army Ladies." Abu Kassim said at Friday's joint press conference.

Police Ladies will be aiming to avenge their double defeats suffered against Army Ladies this season.

They lost both at home and away fixtures against their Army counterparts during the Women's Malta Guinness Premier League campaign this term.

Police Ladies won the maiden edition of the Women’s FA Cup trophy against Fabulous Ladies in 2016.

The match is scheduled for 16: 00GMT (4pm local time) and will be broadcast live on MAX TV.
