The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is pleased to announce a nine-day training tour in Senegal for the Black Queens, as part of preparations for the upcoming TotalEnergies Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The training tour, taking place during the April FIFA window, will feature two international friendly matches against Senegal's Teranga Lionesses in Dakar.
Coach Kim Lars Björkegren's side will face the Teranga Lionesses twice, with the matches scheduled to take place within a few days of each other.
This training tour follows a similar camp organized by the GFA during the February FIFA window in Morocco.
These training tours are part of the senior women's national team's buildup to the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco from July 5-26, 2025.
Coach Kim Lars Björkegren will use this opportunity to assess and expand his pool of players ahead of the WAFCON.
