The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to hold a training workshop for CEOs, team managers, and top officials of Premier League clubs on the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols.
The workshop aims to enhance the implementation of Matchday Safety and Security Protocols. The training workshop will take place on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, via Zoom.
The training will dwell on the effective implementation of the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols, the responsibilities of the Club, its Management and the Clubs Safety and Security Officer.
There shall be an open session between the facilitators and the participants to look at scenario analysis in the implementation of the approved protocols.
Additionally, more light will be thrown on educating their fan base, coaches, players, and other staff about the Code of Conduct for supporters and other best practices before, during, and after the matches.
The session will also look at the compliance regime in the Protocols, the enforcement processes, the working relationship between clubs with other match officials, and the security personnel to enhance Safety and Security at the match.
