First Batch of Free License D Coaching Course Kicks Off in Kumasi

The inaugural batch of the free License D Coaching Course commenced on Monday in Kumasi, marking a significant step forward for grassroots football development in the Ashanti Region. The course, specifically designed for coaches from colts clubs, has attracted 30 enthusiastic participants who are eager to enhance their coaching skills.

Over a two-week period, these coaches will undergo intensive training aimed at improving their tactical and technical knowledge, thus better equipping them to nurture young football talents. This initiative underscores the commitment to elevating the standard of football coaching at the grassroots level, ensuring a stronger foundation for future stars of the sport.

Renowned instructors, Prince Acheampong (Sabuto) and Charles Anokye Frimpong, the head coach of the female U18 national team, are leading the course, with the support of Head of Coach Education Desmond Ofei. Their extensive experience and expertise are expected to provide invaluable insights and practical knowledge to the participants.

This initiative not only aims to improve the coaching standards in the region but also aspires to inspire a new generation of coaches who can contribute significantly to the development of football at the grassroots level.
