GFA President to visit Central RFA

As part of ongoing visitation to Regional Football Associations after the election of their respective Executive Committees, GFA President, Kurt E. S. Okraku, will visit and meet the Executive Committee of the Central Regional Football Association at their offices tomorrow, Friday , 22nd March, 2024, at 10am.

The visit by President Okraku will afford him the opportunity to meet and interact with the newly elected members of the Central RFA Executive Committee, and for him to get a basic understanding of the region's plans for the next three and a half years. Mr. Robert Duncan, Chairman of the Central RFA, is also expected to update the GFA President on strategic initiatives implemented in the region.

The meeting will also discuss issues relating to Colts Football, the development of a clear progressive pathway for female players, monthly subvention for the region and the finals of the Regional 2nd division playoffs.

President Kurt Okraku has already visited the Ashanti and Greater Accra RFAs and his interaction with these RFAs was very fruitful leading to sharpened focus on the pursuit of set objectives for the regions.

The GFA President will be visiting remaining regions over the next few months to hold similar engagements in continuing efforts to strengthen Grassroots Football in all regions of the country.

Accompanying the President will be the Head of Public Relations and Strategy of the GFA, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, and the Regional Football Associations (RFAs) Coordinator, Daasebre Adu-Asare.
