The Ghana Premier League continues with mid-week action as Match Day 20 is set to be played on Wednesday. This adjustment follows the revised league calendar announced a week ago after the one-month suspension of the league. The Competitions Department had earlier confirmed that Match Days 20, 21, and 22 would be scheduled as mid-week fixtures to accommodate the new timeline.
League leaders Asante Kotoko will face a tricky away fixture against Young Apostles, while Hearts of Oak travel to Bechem to take on Bechem United in another crucial encounter. Defending champions FC Samartex will also be in action as they host Medeama SC.
A Western derby will see Basake Holy Stars welcome Bibiani Goldstars, while Berekum Chelsea and Nsoatreman FC battle in a fierce Brong Ahafo derby. Elsewhere, Heart of Lions will take on Dreams FC in Kpando, as Nations FC hosts Aduana Stars at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Accra Lions will square off against Karela United, and the final game of the round will see Legon Cities hosting Vision FC under the lights at the Legon Sports Stadium.
With the league race heating up, these mid-week fixtures are expected to deliver thrilling encounters as teams fight for crucial points.
