The programme of activities for the 2024 KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship, which kicks off on Thursday, July 24, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, has been announced.

The ten (10) regional teams will arrive at the GFA's Technical Centre on July 24, to go through FIFA Safeguarding orientation sessions.

The teams, which have been divided into two groups, made up of five teams in each group, will kick start their campaign for talent identification on Friday, July 26, through to Thursday, August 8, 2024.

The KGL sponsored Colts Championship, which is focused on talent identification, will see budding talents showcase their immense potential and quality at the Technical Centre of the Ghana Football Association, the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, in Prampram.

The championship forms part of the implementation phase of the Talent Development Scheme (TDS) by the GFA, aimed at talent identification and development of the next generation of top football stars.

The 12-day championship also aims to identify, train, develop, and empower young male footballers, an integral pillar of the football strategy of the Ghana Football Association.

The tournament will feature the best Under 17 Colts players from the ten Regional Football Associations.
