The Ghana Football Association, in collaboration with FIFA, has successfully concluded the Talent Development and Scouting (TDS) Project in the Volta Region.

The nationwide initiative was launched in the Volta Region, specifically in the Ho and Sogakope municipal areas. The project had two main components: the Football Festival for Basic Schools and Capacity Building for Community Coaches, Coordinators, and Regional Coach Educators.

The well-attended programme drew over 500 basic school students, who showcased their talents on the field. The seminar component of the project brought together 170 community coaches, six coordinators, and two regional developmental coaches, who received training on Coaching Education, Talent Identification, and Scouting.

Participants, including Physical Education Tutors from the Volta Region, expressed their gratitude to the Ghana Football Association for the initiative.

The programme is set to continue, with its next stop in the Central Region.
