Gold Stars FC vs Hearts of Oak

Fresh from their crucial 0-1 win at Basake Holy Stars on Wednesday, the Miners will be confident mood as they attempt to extend their lead on top of the table. A surprising 1-0 loss at Bechem United on Wednesday has seen Hearts of Oak suffer back-to-back defeats in the league for the first time since September 2024. That result halted the momentum gained by five wins and two draws. They are currently occupying the 5th position in the league table with 36 points, having scored 19 and conceded 12.

The Phobians head into this fixture as the second best away performers in the league. Abubakar Ouattara’s men will yearn for all the spoils on Sunday over Gold Stars FC side they’ve never lost away from home in the league since 2021.

It’s a cracker between the second best home side and the second best away performers.
