The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Senegalese match officials will officiate the crucial second leg of the qualifier between Ghana’s Black Sharks and the Sand Elephants of Ivory Coast.

The high-stakes match will take place in Abidjan on Saturday, July 27, 2024, to determine who makes it to the 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON, which will be staged in Egypt.

The officiating team is led by Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Ndiaye, who will be joined by colleagues Basile Opa Mendy and Oumar Sagna as his assistants.

The timekeeper for the match is Aly Deme, with El Achiri Abdellah from Morocco as the match commissioner.

The first of these qualifiers, which was played in Keta, ended in a thrilling 5-3 in favor of Ghana, and the second leg is expected to be a highly competitive affair as both sides vie for a place in the upcoming AFCON.

The match in Abidjan will be held at the Stade Agora de Port-Bouet, which is set to host a passionate crowd in what promises to be a thrilling spectacle and a showcase of African beach soccer talent.
