The Ghana Football Association has announced the selection of thirty referees from the Catch Them Young Refereeing Policy for the upcoming KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U-17 Colts tournament. The list includes both center referees and assistant referees and is testament to the development and promotion of young refereeing talent in the country.
The tournament will kick off on July 25, 2024, and conclude on August 8, 2024, with matches being played at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
All the ten ‘football’ regions of Ghana will participate in this prestigious event.
This marks the fourth edition of the KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U-17 Colts tournament.
The tournament provides a platform for young footballers to showcase their talent, with scouts and coaches from various national teams expected to be in attendance.
The inclusion of referees from the Catch Them Young Refereeing Policy underscores the GFA's commitment to nurturing young referees, ensuring they gain valuable experience and exposure at such high-profile tournaments.
