Tamale City and Semper Fi played out a goalless draw in their Group B encounter at the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, making it the only Matchday One fixture to end without a goal and without a winner.

Tamale City adopted a highly defensive approach and frustrated Semper Fi’s attacking threat throughout the first half. Despite dominating possession and controlling much of the play, Semper Fi struggled to create clear-cut chances against a well-organised Tamale City defence.

The second half opened up, with both sides creating opportunities and showing greater attacking intent. However, neither team could find the breakthrough as the game ended goalless, with both sides settling for a share of the spoils.

The result leaves Nsuopon Fidelity top of Group B with 3 points after their 1-0 win over FC AshantiGold, while Tamale City and Semper Fi have one point apiece and AshantiGold sit bottom without a point.
